This past Thursday evening, October 30, 2014, the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau (BBB) awarded Hammersmith Management, Inc., the 2014 Torch Award for Marketplace Trust in the Large Business Category. This award is offered in recognition of a company’s commitment to fair, honest, and ethical practices.
“It is a great honor to receive this award, and to be recognized for the principles and values that provide a foundation for everything we do,” said John Hammersmith, CEO. “In working with community associations and volunteer board members, we have always made a commitment to earn the trust of our clients, to operate with the highest level of professionalism and integrity, and to provide exceptional service to the homeowners we represent.”
Ann Williams, President of Hammersmith, was also quoted as saying, “Not only is this recognition special for our team here at Hammersmith, but it helps to elevate the community association industry, as a whole. We are proud to demonstrate our continued leadership in an industry that affects over two million people living in Colorado communities, and illustrates why we are Leaders in Community Management™.”
This year the BBB received a total of 154 nominations, with judging based on an extensive application and selection process. Criteria for the Torch Award includes: (1) the company’s standards of behavior towards employees, (2) the company’s standards of behavior towards customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders, (3) communications to the marketplace, and (4) contributions to the community at large.
We owe this honor to the success of the Associations we manage, the 40,000 homeowners and residents we serve, the Colorado community, and to the dedication of our outstanding team members.
