Here at Hammersmith Management, we talk about CAI–the Community Associations Institute–pretty frequently. And for good reason: we believe in its mission of building better Communities.

CAI has approximately 33,500 members and works in partnership with 60 chapters. The launch of the organization’s most recent chapter represented an exciting expansion for CAI: a foray into the international realm with the launch of CAI South Africa. The organization also works in partnership with housing leaders in a number of other countries, including Australia, Canada, the UAE and the UK.
CAI is dedicated to serving Community Associations and Homeowners through educational seminars and workshops, and maintains the largest collection of resources available on Community Association Management in the world. (View its repository of materials here!) It’s also the leading resource for continuing education for those who practice Community Association Management. It’s basically a one stop shop for all things related to Association living!
We’re proud that many Hammersmith Team Members have taken on volunteer leadership roles within the organization. Our CEO, John Hammersmith, serves on the Board of Trustees and is part of CAI’s Think Tank, and other team members serve on committees including the Colorado Legislative Action Committee, CAI Rocky Mountain Chapter’s Activities Committee, the Common Interest Magazine editorial committee, and many more.
